Needless to say, I was very frustrated after having paid a plumber to come three times to unblock the drain pipe from my washing machine with no lasting results. I thought my only option was to hire a backhoe to come in and I would have to hire someone else to replace the outdoor pipe to the tank thinking the line might have tree roots blocking the drain pipe that the plumber could not clear on those three separate occasions. In this economy, and working only part time for the last two years in a job paying a little better than minimum wage, I didn't know how I would pay for such an expensive repair. As a last effort, before going that route, I decided to give Roto-Rooter a try. Their name is well known in the Boston area so I figured they must know their stuff. They come to your house to evaluate the problem and let you know if they can fix it before charging you. And, if they can't fix the problem, there is no charge! What I like is that they also include a six month guarantee
