Businiess name:  Dickey Inspection Group LLC

Review content:
Terrible experience with Mr. Dickey...from a buyer's standpoint. He inspected home that we purchased. He told us that the roof was correctly installed and told us it was in good shape. Four months after moving in, we find out that our roof is rotten. Additionally, there was no counter flashing installed on the chimney, which was obvious from a visual inspection from the yard. Their own insurance adjuster said you could see that the rafters in the attic were rotten, but he failed to notice that as well. We are looking at $10,000 to replace or $3,300 to repair and he refuses to pay for anything. His insurance company, of course, claims he did nothing wrong. You would think when you pay a home inspector that they would at least check the foundation and roof - the most expensive items to a repair on a house. He totally neglected to inspect the roof and now we are stuck with the bill. I would definitely recommend you look elsewhere for a better, more trustworthy home inspector.
