I checked three affordable copier service adds. I chose the costa Mesa address because it was closest to my address. I was conned into having my printer taken from my home. I asked for an estimate. He said as he was leaving with my printer that he would get back to me. This was a mistake on my part. Thomas Farrell has three big adds for his business. He answers all three using his cell phone. He took my printer on Mar.31. He said he would have it back the next day, Ap. 1 2015. He said he would deliver it back for three days and on Sat. after my call, he brought it back. Thomas Farrell does not do the work. He has a tech doing the work. I was told that Canon MG5320 had China parts and he built it back up with USA parts. Being wireless a cord was added to my printer to the computer. My computer had to be programed. The add states FREE ESTIMATES andNO TRIP CHARG OR HOURLY CHARGE. Job is based on parts and labor. It says also in the add,TIME RESPONSIBLE. None of these were ever mentioned or considered in this job. Canon rebuilt cost 290.00 and TRIP cost 150.oo and LABOR COST 190.OO and COMPUTER WORK,meaning reprograming to work with Canon printer was 195.00.\r
I spent 825.00. The tax was inc. The INVOICE was a printer copy with one copy for me. And, written in comments area was: lifetime guarantee. \r
Thomas Farrell is not part of BBB. They will not send a letter to Mr. Farrell until I contact him personally. This man is traveling long distance for all his contacts. I would NEVER give him the time of day. My opinion is that Thomas Farrell is dishonest. I paid this man because I was dumb founded how he presented himself.
