Review content:
Bergeron Plumbing installed a faucet in our kitchen. When the water ran, the faucet fittings leaked, which went unnoticed for just over a week. We noticed a very strong mold/mildew smell, then found standing water under our kitchen sink. The end result was that we had to have our kitchen island completely removed, along with some drywall, get the house mold treated, and have the island rebuilt.
We called Bergeron Plumbing and they said that the mold must be from an old leak, even though we lived in the house over two years, and have never smelled mold/mildew, and never saw standing water under our sink until this faucet leak.
We spoke to the contractors who were replacing our kitchen island, and other than the faucet fittings, they said they found no other source of water.
The end result, we had to use our own insurance, and pay the entire deductible ourselves.
