Review content:
The Fertility Institute of New Orleans/Mandeville is overall PATHETIC! Office staff was inattentive, unfriendly & disconnected to the delicacy of the reason you are there to begin with. Unfortunately, there is not enough characters available in this space to describe the nurses. WOW, each one ‘burned out’, hardly friendly, condescending, rude (especially EVE) & far from genuine concern about your fragile state &/or the fact that you need their help way more than they need you as a patient. This place wasted my time, my money, my emotional fragility, but worst of all, my husband & I’s biological clock. I am 34.5 (as listed on my Fertility Institute of New Orleans/Mandeville’s paperwork) & my husband is 40; thus time is not our friend & every precious moment/second is vital. Not only did we have a bad experience with the entire staff & not the greatest with the Doctor, whom we only met once, we had a failed IUI performed by some other doctor & who knows how many more if I hadn’t opened my eyes & sought out other alternatives. After having diligently researched all I could know about IUI’s as well as my tumultuous 4 year nursing school stent, I was determined I was not receiving the care my husband & I needed. I inquired w/ Fertility Institute of New Orleans/Mandeville different things that I had anticipated yet continually denied. They continued to tell me my blood-work, whoop-ta-do, didn’t indicate the need. So, basically, they wanted me to continue to do IUI’s until who knows & who knows. They never could supply me with any definitives & each time I visited the office, I left feeling like damaged goods.
The fact of the matter is, my husband & I desperately needed the Fertility Institute of New Orleans/Mandeville way more than they needed me! After having a consultation with my new doctor, my affirmations were solidified as far as my initial thoughts towards the Fertility Institute of New Orleans/Mandeville. At the end of the day, we were just another number in the eyes of the Fertility Institute of New Orleans/M
