Review content:
When it comes to Donamarc, buyer beware. Despite our spending close to $20,000 with the company, Donamarc refuses to in any way remedy a water problem directly attributable to what was, at best, an error in judgement on their part. More specifically, Donamarc removed an iron filter unit installed in our home (we had just moved into the home), claiming it was not needed to remove the iron from our well water (claiming the water softener would do the job). Consequently our water did, in fact, become fouled with iron, causing, among other things, staining of costly finishes, & necessitating the installation of an iron unit of identical function, purchased from another supplier, costing several thousand dollars. Please note that Donamarc could have simply detached the unit from the water system & left it in the event of a future problem (we have plenty of places for storage), rather than remove a very costly piece of equipment. Unfortunately we know a lot more now than we did then - t
