Review content:
this was the 1st service on my new forester (purchased in aug 2014 @ South Coast Subaru)...not good...the alarm flags were not reset and began flashing less than a week after my visit...when I called I never could get through to the service dept...finally I asked the receptionist to ask how to reset the flags and she came back with the message that the service person "could talk me through the reset process but it'd take at least 20mins" otherwise I could "just swing by and they'd reset"....if they had problems with a simple service like I had and forgot to do what must be a fundamental step (reset alarms) well it doesn't bode well for future issues. I'll be trying Irvine Subaru Service..I've always bought my cars new and had them serviced at the dealer...that's a lot of future $$ for you..more of an effort should have been made...first impressions are lasting and mine wasn't good...I wonder..was the oil even changed???
