Review content:
It's a known fact that places will not work on you faster if you have insurace- they'll move slower b/c they have to wait for the insurance check & they'll move faster if you have cash in hand. This shop is one of those places who go by that way of thinking. My insurance set up an appointment w/ the company. I gave a detailed description of the damage, including the fact that the molding was damaged. A day later the company comes out & then remarks on how they can't repair it b/c they don't have the molding. Uh... shouldn't you have brought that out with you if you were planning on taking out the windshield entirely, even if I hadn't mentioned the molding? Every car has molding on their windshield, so it's not like this is a new invention! I'm then told that I'll get a call sometime this afternoon saying when they'll get the equipment & how long it'll be before they'll be back. First the girl says that she isn't sure when they'll get it from the dealership. (A dealership that is about maybe 35-50 miles away from any of their stores.) Then when I ask for an actual time, she calls back & says that they wouldn't get it in until Monday. It'll take them 4 days to get something from a dealership that would only take them 20-30 minutes to drive to. FOUR DAYS to get something that they should have had from the beginning. So now I'm SOL if the windshield should get more damage from anything like the weather & debris & then be illegal to drive. (If the cr@ck spreads in front of my line of vision I can't legally drive it.) Meanwhile I'll have to call out of work AGAIN & skip college to wait for an incompetent group of clowns to get their stuff in gear. Bet if I'd been paying cash in hand they'd have the molding by the end of the day & I'd have my car back in drivable condition before the weekend even got here! Unless you can pay these people cash in hand, avoid them & go to a place where they employ people are smart enough to bring the right equipment from the start
Pros: None- my insurance forced me to go through them
Cons: slow, stupid, doesn't care unless you are paying up front
