http://hitechautomotivemo.com/\r \r Beware of this Guy/Shop (Tim and Tony)\r Bad Customer experience\r \r On 2/4, I called this garage and talked to Tony. I wanted to get my Honda Odyssey Transmission replaced. Transmission was broken and dealership was charging a little high. I called this place, on referral of someone who said they know him thru the church. Tony gave me following estimate: less than $1000.00 for repairs and between $2000 to $3000 for replacement with REMAN Transmission, with 2 years warranty, and extra charges for towing. So I asked my insurance to do the towing for me. He also told me that “most of the time they can fix the problem by repair”. As it turned out, it was total lie. I guaranty these guys have no experience in fixing any broken Transmissions, and they say this line to everyone. He didn’t even open the transmission and most probably read out the dealership report to me, as diagnostic report. After the “immovable” VAN was towed to this place, the guy started saying Transmission is not repairable, and replacement will cost $3300.00 and no mention of any warranty.\r \r I did not like this, but even asked if he can keep it inside 2-3k which he said earlier. He flatly refused.\r \r When I decided to get my car to another shop, Tim the owner started demanding $85.00 checking fee. This fee was never mentioned to me by Tony during initial conversation. . Tim even started lying that estimate given was between2000 and 3500. Later he also agreed to fix it for $3000.00 but I refused, I do not want to give business to dishonest people.\r \r These people want to trap the customer and to do that they “make it sound” as if they will do the job for too less in the beginning.\r \r I wish Tim losses all his customers for giving me such bad experience.
