I bought an iPhone 4 from Cameras and Lenses on Dec 17, 2011. These guys Mario and Nelson told me they were selling me the latest iPhone 4S. Mario specifically said it was the “iPhone 4S the latest one. Unlocked.” When I opened it up at home I realized it was an iPhone4 GSM from 2 years ago -- The one that had the big recall for not working properly. When I called the store back and said they had given me the wrong box, Nelson said there was a no-return policy and wouldn't even talk to me. He said they couldn't be expected to know when there phones were made and that it wasn’t their problem. This is total fraud that wouldn't survive anywhere else in the USA or Canada.
When trying to get the iPhone working, it became clear that it wasn't even new. There was only 5 months of warranty left on it and the battery was dead (not the original). Moreover the iPhone was locked when Mario specifically told me it was unlocked.
Trying to get hold of Mario over the next few weeks was futile. I was told to call back several times. First he was supposedly on vacation, then living out of the country.
This is COMPLETE FRAUD. Camera & Lenses is a criminal organization and should be shut down.
