Dogz Dream Inn is a cage less boarding facility. My dog has always stayed in cage less facilities and that is what he is used to. I know that with many dogs running around, accidents can happen. However, when something does happen to my dog, I expect the owner or the employees to contact me ASAP about the incident, and take my dog to get treatment if needed. When I picked my dog up my husband noticed right away that he had some quarter sized lump on his nose. When my husband noticed it, the woman working at the desk that morning whispered to another employee, "oh, looks like he's noticed that wart". When we enquired about it, she explained that she thought it had always been there (even though this had been his 3rd visit, in so many months). She then changed her story immediately to claim that it had just appeared the day before. She didn't know what it was so she took my dog to the owners home (she lives on site), to ask her what it was. When she came back 5 minutes later, she claimed that the owner thought it was a bug bite. The owner never came out to speak to us personally about this lump, and no apology or concern for my dogs wellbeing was made by any of the staff on duty. So off we went to the vets with a very upset dog who was clearly experiencing a lot of discomfort. Unfortunately the vet did not know exactly what this lump on his nose was either, but could only guess. If the employees of Dogz Dream Inn were more attentive and observant of the dogs in their care (as they should be), we would of known what had happened, and when it had happened. After a week of antibiotics the lump began to shrink. I called the owner of Dogz Dream Inn to ask her what had happened to my dog and when. Her first response was that the lump had appeared on his nose the morning we picked him up. I told her that I've heard 3 different versions about when this lump appeared, and asked her to tell me which version was true. She then responded by letting me know that she had been on holiday for the last 2 days
