I was arrested in 2013 on serious cannabis charges. Not being from the area (it was an I-80 case), the closest attorney's I knew were over 2,000 miles away. I ended up interviewing 5 different firms before deciding to go with Ed's and his firm due to his excellent reputation, very reasonable and competitive rates and, at the end of the day, I just felt like he was someone who would fight for me. Thank god I made that decision. At best I was looking at a minimum of four years in prison. Not only did Ed get my charges significantly reduced, I did not do any prison time and only a minimal amount of days in county jail! This was a FAR better outcome than any of the other law firms I interviewed had predicted. I found Ed and his law partner Desiree to be VERY responsive. They always made time to return my calls and answer my frequent and numerous questions. I whole heartedly recommend Ed and Desiree. Although my hope is to never be in need of his service again, If I do need a lawyer in Northern Illinois, I would not hesitate to hire Ed and his firm again.
