Businiess name:  Banfield the Pet Hospital
Review by:  Barbara V.
Review content:
I took my 13 year old Pomeranian and 8 year old Yorkie to Banfield initially because of the convenience and the Wellness Plan. However, I got so much more than I bargained for. My pom has a heart murmur and a narrowed trachea, but he had developed a cough over the last several months that really concerned me. I called our previous Vet and he stated that "that is how the murmur progresses" and "there isn't really anything that can be done about it". So NOT true!! Banfield signed him up on the Wellness Plan, did all the diagnostics and put him on the medication that he needed to prolong his life and make him more comfortable. They even addressed the eye boogies that my yorkie gets and gave him eye drops to clear the issue (another issue our prior Vet had said was breed specific and not worth treating). My babies are receiving the best care that they have ever had, and considering that we live in a rural area with dozens of Vet's per square mile, that is saying a lot. This clinic is very professional, clean, the staff and Veterinarians are very knowledgeable, and very cost effective. I have had dogs and cats all my life and I won't ever go anywhere else again..
