Apparently all of the 'positive' reviews for Grays Auto Upholstery in Santa Rosa, Ca. are Bogus. Many are repeat statements. Gray Oakes is a very wily and dishonest buisness person. He may or may not have an actual workshop. He offers guarantees that are worthless. I had my 1966 studebaker headliner replaced, plus front and rear windows - with me supplying all materials. I even assisted in installing the windows. He did not use sealant or caulking on the window install. He guaranteed the windows to be leak free. First rain - the windows leak like sieves. Water poured in the front windshield over the electrical of the dashboard, the rear window leaked into the interior and trunk - lots of water. He has said he would take the car to his shop to dry out the seals and inject sealant. 'do you have the tool to inject the sealant? do you have the sealant?" two weeks later, and still no sign of him honoring his word. He gets his cash - and he is gone. His business is false, the reviews here on Judy's list are Bogus. Do not hire this individual. He doesn't take credit cards - for obvious reasons, the customer has no recourse to get their money back, or satisfaction of a job well done. Stay away. Bad News. False advertising. deserves NO stars.
