Review content:
Multistate Transmissions did a full transmission rebuild for my son-in-law. Overall, we were pleased with their service. There were a few issues regarding the warranty, but I'll get into that later. Laura quoted me a price, and informed me that they might run into some additional costs depending on how the rebuild went. They were able to find a torque converter with a lower price, which I appreciated.
As far as the warranty went, I have the ability and the resources to pull a transmission out myself, so I did that and gave them the transmission to do a bench repair. This lowered the price of the service substantially, but, they were only able to give us a six month limited warranty, instead of the full year, because I installed the transmission myself. I mean if it works for six months, then it will work for a year, so that isn't much of a hassle. Other than that, the customer service was great. I would recommend their service.
