I have used Mortensen's Tree Service twice now. Both times I have had a good experience with them.
When I first bought my house we had a dead aspen that needed to be removed and a giant oak tree that was getting destroyed by aphids. We also had a few trees in our backyard that needed to be taken care of. Mark is the owner, and is actually a neighbor of mine. He was able to let me know about his service and help me with my trees.
Mark lives around the block. He is very respectful, personable, and I've never had any issues with him. Mark's tree service is very efficient. He showed up with his crew on time, and had all the equipment needed to do the job. He brought his wife the first time so I could meet her. The second time he worked on my trees, he just came to supervise, and was very helpful.
The Oak tree in our front yard was totally over grown and had lots of broken branches. He recommended a person to give treatments to our Oak tree. The tree is very healthy now, and actually grew a lot.
Taking care of trees is costly, which a lot of people don't know. So it's good when you trust the person working on your trees. Sure, you can have your handyman take a few whacks at them, but it's better to get the job done correctly. Mark is an arborist, so he really knows what he is doing. I'll definitely call him back.
