WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! About 6 weeks ago, Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning, St. Paul, MN, swept my chimney and cleaned my furnace/ducts. In the process, as I discovered on Thanksgiving Day when I started the first fire of the season, they apparently broke the flu damper mechanism. I called and talked with Lisa, and was told that the tech, Ben, would come back out the next week and look at it. He did not show, nor did he come the following week. I called again this week and talked with Lisa (again) who told me Dane would call me about it. In a subsequent voicemail, he told me that his tech told him the flu was already broken (not true) and that I was lying to him. When I tried to talk further in this 3 minute conversation and explain, again, what actually happened, he simply said ""I'm done talking about this."" I've worked with many contractors, construction guys, and home services providers over my 30 years of home ownership, and this was the worst example of customer service I've encountered. My only recourse now is to take them to Small Claims Court. Don't make the same mistake! They do not stand behind their work, no matter how shoddy!
