I could write a multi-page review of Stickler's Auto. I have been going there for years. The staff is always so helpful. Recently I ran into an issue with needing several repairs within weeks of each other. At this time it has been difficult for me to get all of the work done because of high medical debt. Mike, the owner always recommends if the work can wait. He takes the safety of his clients to heart and there have been times I have gone forward with work even though it was putting a strain on my budget because I know Mike is honest. In those instances if Mike can find a used part or find a way to cut the labor cost somehow, he does. This last visit was something that could be handled short-term with a quick-fix which only cost my $30 with labor and Mike recommended that I come back when I can afford to so I have the repair taken care of. In the meantime, he made the car safe to drive, gave me tips on how to handle the issue and took the time to explain in detail what the repair was and why it was ok to let it go temporarily. Alissa, Mike's assistant is always helpful as well and will research where to find used parts to save me money or has ideas as well on how to handle costly repairs. There is another mechanic, Joe, who works at the shop as well and he has gone way out of his way on occasion to help my family when we've needed emergency things done or he has found ways for us to manage till we could fix the car. I have recommended this shop to everyone I know. Everyone I have sent has been thrilled with the customer service and the level of caring and commitment the entire staff provides.
