I've had my car at this Mr Transmission location since Nov. 25th they accepted my M/C and charged me 2385.00 to repair my transmission . Was told car would take a 48 hour turn around to repair. I went to location on Dec.1 I was told car would be ready Dec 2 after several calls that day finally got a call after 7pm, they needed more money. Against my better judgment I gave Steve the manager my card info. He processed 656.37 on my card said he was emailing me all the info. Never received it. On Dec. 3 went to shop to pick up my car since I was promised it would be ready. Get there power is turned off . Technician Tommy informed my I probably needed legal advice. Contacted Citibank, cancelled my M/C and disputed charges. My car was still torn apart. I have been there or had my friend go by there everyday and it's always going to be ready tomorrow. I have gone 3 times to test drive my car and told it was fixed. It goes up to 4000 rpms and slams into gear. No this isn't fixed! I've now been informed I have to pay 3000.00 CASH to get my car back that still isn't fixed. I don't think they even have the ability to fix it. It is now 22 day's later I still can't get my car back, it's still not fixed. Unless, you consider going up to 4000 rpms and slamming into gear fixed.? These people are totally unprofessional, unethical and apparently unable to perform repairs on a transmission. And their a transmission shop? I've been to the Harris County Courthouse and was informed there are 3 lawsuits against Mr Transmission right now. Bottom line, I've paid these people 3000.00 to repair my car, they got the money from Citibank. Citibank has told me under no circumstances pay them cash to get my car back. They will not release my car unless I pay cash. I've hqd Harris County Sheriff's out there with me. They told me this is common they are there on a regular basis. Friday night Dec.12 two offcers were there with me and a third pulled up and said he had been there earlier that day.
