This store is walking distance from my home and I wasn't always that impressed with it until my recent decision to buy some fish. I went all over to northern Virginia to specialty aquarium stores to find that the Burke Petco fish department isn't half bad. It is the cleaner than anywhere else (I'm always seeing them clean the tanks), it has tanks with things for the fish to hid in/behind and it has a pretty good selection. The cat department is getting better with lots of natural options for food and it is a decent local stop for my pet needs. I also like that they host adoption days weekly and have little reminders about considering adoption before purchase of their small furry animals.
