My husband and I just got taken to the tune of $4600.00 and we plan to file a claim in civil court!! The technician came out and said we needed a new compressor for our AC unit because a ""power surge"" had ""burnt up"" the old one. Our homeowners would have covered this type of damage but, upon checking they determined that all that was needed was a replacement wire. A 3rd AC repairman came out today and confirmed what the homeowner's technician said. A1 also wanted to take our old unit away (of course they did! They can get refunds and even sell the copper from inside the unit without giving any rebate to us, the proper owners, of course. Now, they refuse to even return phone calls regarding this issue. If you are reading this, DO NOT call this company unless you like being taken advantage of by shifty, amoral con artists!
