Review content:
I have built and sold houses over the last six years and working with Stone City was the worst experience I have ever had. After they came to template we were contacted and told our bid was going to have to be increased by $2,000. They apparently have a hard time reading plans. Despite being frustrated we decided to continue working with them. We were on a timeline, we had already gave them a deposit, and had already picked out our slabs. Or so we thought we had picked out our slabs. When they showed up for install, it was clear they had brought slabs that were no where near the original color we picked out. We contacted the store before the actual slabs were installed to voice our concerns and was told that in fact was the slab we picked out and there was nothing we could do about it. We spoke with the sales rep, manager and even owner that day and nobody was willing to admit they sold slabs we did not pick out. To top it off they cut our island into three pieces and gave us two seams. It only needed to be cut once.
Do your self a big favor and stay far away from this company!!!
