Review content:
I steer clear from this pet store if I can help it. We're a hamster family and so we would go there every once in a while to look at the small animals while we're buying supplies. We first noticed that the cages were smelly and dirty, and not just in a normal way. It was as if they hadn't cleaned in ages - the bedding looked torn to dust. And even with five hamsters in a cage, that's not normal. But one day we finally saw a dead hamster in a cage under some bedding - it looked as if the other hamsters tried to cover him up. Who knows how long he had been dead, but when I told the workers they said they'd take care of it. Half an hour later, no one had gone near the cages. That's just unacceptable. We decided to rescue at least one hamster from there and it died about a week later. Needless to say, we did not go back to "exchange" for another.
