I would have to say that Petco is a good store. Petco has good products but it doesn't have as much selection storewide as Petsmart does. Petco has good prices and deals. The Petco P.A.L.S program is worth participating in. The program is free and it will allow you to recieve discounts on products. However, what really makes Petco great is the grooming. They do not overcharge like a lot of pet stores and clinics. The grooming staff is very nice and great with pets. Plus, they get the job done quick without sacrificing a quality grooming. Every single time I bring my dog there, I am always surprised at how great they do on her. There are a couple of times in which they even put cute little bows in her hair. They also have a frequent grooming program, in which you get the tenth grooming absolutely at no cost to you. So Petco is a good store. Not something I would recommend over Petsmart. But if yu want a great grooming for your pet, then this is definitely the place to go.
