Review content:
I found pet rats someone had taken there and threw in a cage. I found it strange that nobody had seen it or had found the rats. But, the store is ok... the products are more expensive than Walmart or Target. I think they should also be more selective in some of the "rescues" they allow in their stores. I saw one caged dog pee then turn around and drink his own urine because he was thirsty! Another one raised the price of one of their dogs from $175 to $250 overnight! The one last week that used to run a rescue in St Louis wouldn't answer my questions about a pup I wanted to adopt. This does reflect on Petco, no matter what. I also think the turnover rate at Petco is probably fairly high, and I don't think everyone there is adequately trained to care for the animals.
