Got selected as a beta tester and must say that this is a cool app for hikers and climbers. Cairn makes it simple to let others know where you plan on going, then tracks you in the wilderness, if you don't return by your specified checkin time it will send an alert to your selected contacts. While tracking you crowdsource cell signal data that can be used by you and others to see exact spots with cell coverage.
