Review content:
We went there last year and the man helping us did not sound like he knew what he was doing. I left there crossing my fingers hoping he entered it correctly. Now almost a year later I got a letter from our friends over at the IRS. Turns out that the man doing our taxes claimed 4000 on my husbands self employment when it was supposed to be 8000. My husband took the letter back down to Liberty Taxes. Even after he showed them the letter and review our last taxes they told him not to worry about it that as long as the IRS wasn't asking for money then we should just ignore it. \r
I looked at it that night after I got home and I told my husband that the numbers did not match up. It was plain to see. He called Liberty Mutual back up and to the man that was helping him what I had said. The man laughed it off and said you ""need to get a new wife...but to go ahead and come back in tomorrow"". When he came back in the next day they looked at it and agreed that I was right! Not only did they mess up once but they messed up the second time around. The people are not knowledgable. The place is so disorganized that they could not find our files even when they had just pulled them the night before. My husband followed them into the back room and he said it was such a mess with files and paper work all over the place. Pretty scary I think for such sensitive material! They have a poster in their office that says that they gaurentee their work and they will give money back if not satisfied. I called them and spoke to the manager but all I was told was that they were busy. I was told they would submit my request for my refund but I have not heard back from them and it has been over a week. The employees there are so bad that they all talk bad about each other. Very badly run and I would never go back or refer one to go there. I would give them 0 stares if I could. Good luck!
