Review content:
We reserved College Cab for a wine tour this past week. My husband is in the Navy and just got back from being gone for a couple of months and we were celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary. We had one full day in Charlottesville and I entrusted that day with the owner, Tim. When I spoke with him on the phone, he was great with loads of information. He sent me an email confirmation and said he'd be calling the next day to get my credit card information. He never did, so I texted him a couple of days before our trip and he reassured me not to worry because he would personally be driving us around for our wine tour. He said he'd pick us up at our hotel at 10:30 am and he would be driving an SUV. At 10:31 am, I received a phone call from a driver, not Tim, saying that he was running late because he overslept. The driver then arrived in a minivan cab with the College Cab logo obstructing our view out the side windows. Even then, my husband and I were trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt. The driver was very friendly and took us to our first destination. However, when we got there, we found out it was closed. We basically spent $35 for an hour of driving to a destination that was not even open using the itinerary the company had set. I was first very upset with the fact that Tim, the owner of the company, should have called me and told me about the change of plans. Then I was even more upset with paying someone so much money when all they had to do was look up the brewery and find out the hours of operation before wasting our time and money driving us there. Along with the fact that we couldn't enjoy looking at any of the views because of the huge logo on our windows, the van's brakes were squeaking every time the driver stopped. We then went to a winery and decided to look up the next place and found out that that place was closed, too. Luckily we were smart enough to look that up and when we told the driver, he was very surprised. You would think that after screwing up the first
