Thought I would share my results of my annual search for great insurance rates.\r

I have decreased my home owners insurance by 50%( $600+) and car insurance by $75.00 per year for the same coverage. Our policies were with Allstate and Mercury. I moved to Farmer?s Insurance to get these rates and used Page Insurance Agency in Cedar Park. They quoted me on the phone and came to the house to get the policies signed ? so very easy. They even brought restaurant gift certs for our new business. \r

FYI- you do not need to be at renewal time to change. You can do this at any time and get a prorated cancellation on your old insurance policy with a refund for the unused premium. \r

Insurance Rate Discounts I was not aware of: Housewife, Husband who is an engineer, Paying monthly by EFT (usually this discount is for paying in full but they discount for monthly)\r

Of course the others are security system, defensive driving, multiline policy.
Pros: Great service, saving money!
