Businiess name:  Stanbrooke Custom Homes

As a person who had a home built by them 7 years ago, I can absolutely advise you not to go with Stanbrooke. During the building process, we had 4 different project managers (most left the company due to poor internal management), 3 different electrical contractors, 2 painting companies.... the list goes on, it was a circus. Most of the subcontractors they worked with were not paid so they left many of the jobs unfinished (call Puyallup Heating 253-838-2177 and ask the owner what his opinion is). If I still had the names of other subcontractors I would give them to you. Our house was to take 6 months to build, but took a little over a year. We are still having problems with our home, both electrical & heating, which is ridiculous for a home that is newer. When we call them they simply say "we did not technically do the work, our subcontractors did, so we're not responsible for it, call them". They come across very nice up front, but do not back up their work, and will leave you hanging if anything goes wrong. As a comparison, there is a house currently being built next door to us by Matt Maenhout Construction. It has been eye opening to see how smooth our neighbors house has gone up, I have been contacted by the builder several times, just to make sure we as neighbors do not have any concerns, a far cry from Stanbrooke's protocol. I am sure there have been some people who have had okay experiences with them, but there are far more of us out here who regret working with this company. Please do your homework and look elsewhere. Hope this helps, good luck.
