I highly recommend Roto Rooter to clear a clogged drain. Our drain clogged such that water backed up in our shower and toilet in the master bath upstairs. I spent two days trying to clear the clog using a 25 ft drain snake driven by my cordless drill. I ran the snake into the shower drain, toilet and even from the roof with only a minor improvement in the draining. The next morning we requested service from Roto Rooter using the online contact form and we had a technician at our house in Hampton, VA within 3 hours. He was very knowledgeable about the plumbing used in my home and he explained where the clog was most likely to be and why my snake was not able to clear it. Within a few minutes he had the main line cleared and we were testing the drains. He was very thorough with the camera inspection of the main line and assessed a possible second clog in a side line that he also clear right away. Before he left, he came in to check the flow on all of our drains and gave us a bacterial based agent to maintain our clear drains without extra charge.
