I cannot rate it because it does not let me give zero. My mother was transferred there from Danbury Hospital after a lumbar cement procedure to repair a fractured lumbar. The procedure was a huge success and her pain level was zero. Her first day at Bethel Healthcare during her shower, her OT did not help her, did not give her the necessary and proper tools she needed as she is not allowed to bend, and as a result mom bent to wash her feet and immediately felt pain in her back again. Due to the fact that she was again bed ridden and could not do PT they ousted her. They did not even notify that she was being ousted - we just happened to call nurse station to see how she was doing and they informed us they called 911 and she was being transported back to Danbury Hospital withing the hour! An MRI was done yesterday showing a complete NEW fracture as a result of Bethel Healthcare's negligence. She not only is not a candidate for the procedure again, but she is not tolerating the drugs needed to keep her pain free and may be like this for the rest of her life. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!
