I had these guys replace a failed breaker box in my house. At the time, there was a 220 wire feed (110x 2) that ran out to my garage for my air compressor. When the box failed, the box grounded through my air compressor. This company showed up the next day and fixed the box. When I hooked my compressor back up it didn't run right. I figured that the motor had been damaged when the panel failed. I saved money and bought a new compressor. When installed it ran just like the old one. The installer had only run 1 leg of 110 out to the garage. The job was not done right. As such, I spent my time, and my money trying to fix a problem that didn't actually exist (time spent trying to find someone to rebuild the motor, and ultimately finding and getting the new compressor and installation). I now have to return the new compressor or take a $500.00 hit to my wallet, due to their incomplete work. I contacted, and expressed my displeasure, and asked for $200.00 for my time. They took 10 days to get back to me, and told me there is nothing they would do. Their solution amounted to "call us back to double check our work" We are all human. Good companies fix their mistakes. Fix is not a discount off FUTURE work. They have been polite through the whole process, but never get around to answering my core question. What is the customer's time worth? I have 10 hours of time into this process, all because the job wasn't done completely the first time.
