Review content:
Better known as the Rockaway Fish House. This place is a local landmark that has been around for at least 30 years. Over the years the menu has grown to include a few Caribbean dishes but the strength of this place is Southern style soul food. A family run business that has given back to the community in many ways. It may lack the fine dining experience but the food is superior to the famed Sylvia's of Harlem. Fresh food with large portions. The dinners, served with two sides, could almost feed two people. The peach cobbler is the perfect end to any meal so try to save some room. They also provide quality, affordable catering. Here's an insider tip: If you ever need a ride from JFK, the promise of a take-out dinner from here should be all you need to get volunteers.
