Both of our kids have attended Sylvan over the years...Sylvan's systematic approach to teaching concepts and identifying road blocks to learning in the classroom have worked wonders for our family. Our daughter attended Sylvan between 4th - 8 grade for reading difficulties. She is now a Freshman in high school and is an honor roll student with enormous self-confidence in her abilities and is not hesitant to ask questions in class in areas where she needs more help. This was a problem in the past and Sylvan has worked with her to overcome these challenges. Our son has attended Sylvan since Spring 2007 when he had troubles getting organized with his school schedule, low grades, poor attitude towards school and homework. Sylvan worked with him on homework skills and also on 2 specific topics, math and grammar. He made the most recent honor roll in school this year for the first time in 4 years. His grades have improved, but so has his general attitude towards school and assuming responsib
