Businiess name:  200 First Street
Review by:  Barbie B.
Review content:
200 First Street isn't a business; it's the 'heart' of the Neptune Beach community. It has been the gathering place for this lovely beachfront community by offering musical performances, art openings, charity events, family oriented functions and many private parties for generations. One of the annual favorites is the big tree lighting ceremony. Entertainment is provided by a host of local artists, Mayport Middle School Band, and of course the visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. 200 First Street is a renovation of the Ed Smith Lumber Company, which has been a part of the Neptune Beach Town Center landscape since the 1930s. On any given day you'll find bicycle riders, joggers, walkers, and people of all ages enjoying the breeze from the Atlantic Ocean located only one block away. It's a place for locals and tourists to mingle, share a smile, and enjoy whatever is going on at 200 First Street this particular day. It's one of our favorite family hang-outs.
