In the interest of quality healthcare for pets:\r

Banfield ads say "walk-ins". I walked in to the Richfield Banfield with a sick pet at a time when their computer was down. Because of no computer, they did not know what amounts to charge (telling me this problem 4-5 times), so they decided to deny medical treatment. The manager talked to me as though I should just get out of the clinic. Having spotted fluid coming from the cat's ears, I expressed my concerns to the manager about finding immediate vet care. The manager did not help us get vet service until I questioned ethics suggesting the hippocratic oath for vets and that a sick pet should not be denied care because the computer did not work. She then immediately went to get the vet to help. I accepted their vet services because I did not know where else to go to get help for the cat. During the cat's exam, the vet showed that the cat also was having much pain from a severely damaged tooth in need of immediate extraction.
