Businiess name:  Overland Hills Christian Child

Review content:
I cannot be more fearful of any child that is in the care of Overland Hills. We brought our 4 year old Autistic son (who is physically typical) to this daycare to watch him for a few hours in the morning. Within three days, there were three separate incidents. Incident #1: Three staff members performed the Heimlich on my son (without calling 911) for a choking incident involving a marble. Incident #2: An attempt to get out of the outside play area into the parking lot. Incident #3: My son climbed up on a window ledge and wrapped cords around his neck nearly falling. Frankly speaking, my son was not watched. His autism affects his verbal abilities. However, he IS a four year old that required constant supervision and monitoring just like any other child. And who has CORDS on their window coverings anymore? We selected this organization because of the advertised "Wendy" who is listed as an OT and Autism specialist. If Wendy is employed - she certainly never interacted with us or our son. Nor did she coach anyone on handling him. I pray that you research this organization in depth before you place your child there.
