I took my truck into Rapid less than a year ago already knowing she needed a tranny rebuild. They offered a fair price for rebuilding the existing tranny with a guarantee so we went ahead with it. The transmission worked great for some time and then developed shifting problems. I took it back into them and right away, while I waited, they began to investigate the problem. Long story short; the problem turned out to be chaffed/worn/broken wires in the wiring harness that controls the transmission. I know enough about vehicles to know that this issue probably wasn't caused by them rebuilding the tranny but rather just of old age and being worn. Nonetheless they fixed it for free, the same day, and they had to drop the tranny to do it! Great job on their part!
