We rented the Sandwolf's Den from siebert reality; a house that was probably nice at one time, but has since become dirty and decrepit. The whole outside was filthy, we had to scrub cobwebs off all of the decks and the windows before our event, the porch furniture was filthy and rusted out, and the solar heater for the pool was disconnected. The hot tub room is pathetic; Many of the blinds were broken and falling apart and we couldnt open one at all so we had to stare at that instead of the view of the ocean. The sliding glass door to the hot tub was unopenable- they sent someone over to look at it, and they never returned to fix that or the blinds. the hot tub itself has a piece busted off of it so there are three holes spraying water into the air over half of it when you turn it on. there were no screens in the whole place except for two (full of holes and tears) in the wierd living area ( which has no tv) on the middle floor, so i guess it is no surprise that the house had the worst fruit fly infestation i have ever seen, even in my dozen years working in bars. There were literally dozens of lights burnt out, including many spotlights up in the ceilings and sconces which needed unscrewed to replace. when we asked for maintainence we were told to change them ourselves!! i counted fourteen lightbulbs burnt out just in two rooms alone, and then got sick of wasting my time, as it was made clear no one at the realty company cared. The huge mold patch in our bathroom was also a highlight, i could go on and on but i think you get the idea. From my observation it seems that the blame can be split 50/50 owner and management- the house has not been updated nor maintained properly and now it is a dilapidated waste of beachfront. Shame on the owners and siebert realty for gouging people with this ridiculously overpriced hunk of junk. Please learn from our experience and DO NOT rent from seibert realty!!
