Review content:
As our mother coped with the increasing challenges of Alzheimer's disease, we wanted a better solution than her 3-tiered community was offering. I toured quite a few assisted living facilities in the Orlando area that provided medical wings or memory wings, but they all fell short of the example set by Arden Courts.\r
In some of the memory care centers I visited around town, I noticed that the caregivers were spending time socializing with one another. In Arden Courts, though, the focus is on the residents and the tone is always one of helpful encouragement.\r
The ratio of caregivers to residents allows for plenty of individual interaction, and the design of the building offers a peaceful, secure environment for wandering or lingering; inside or in one of several pleasant exterior courtyards.\r
Namaste is a program designed to reach the essence of a person with advanced dementia,\r
who may be unable to communicate with words. Arden Courts has designated a room for the practice of Namaste, and my mother really responded to their soothing, holistic methods.\r
Arden Courts was a perfect fit for my mother. The level of dedication of both the management and the staff is refreshing; and for all of my mother's days there, she was contented and enjoying her life.\r
I give Arden Courts my highest compliment: I trusted them completely to take such good care of my Mom.
