Review content:
This is not your ordinary business review, this has everything to do with The Maids business practices and their code of ethics. I am a former employee of theirs and on behalf of all the other American employees that currently work for this franchise, this one's for you. The management team of this place treats their American employees like garbage, while they hire a ton of Hispanics who they feel do a much superior cleaning job than the rest of the group. I've witnessed first hand that this is not true, but if you go to the heads in confidence, they disregard the matter and pay no attention.
We're on our hands and knees 5 days a week breaking our backs for these people and they don't care if you get hurt on the job because they're all about one thing and one thing only...the money. As long as they're getting paid, they don't care about their employees and their welfare. We're treated like slaves with no structured schedule during the week to follow. They favor their Hispanics, they can do no wrong, and no matter how many times you complain to your supervisors about their lack of communication due to their poor English, they don't listen to you. They have one of the highest turnover rates I've ever seen. They ask us for our opinion about the company via phone survey. I would never refer anybody to work for this company and if I was a client knowing how they treat their employees behind the scenes, I wouldn't pay them to come clean my house. And what's worse is that one of the owners doesn't even know how to do some of the basic cleaning functions that's vital to each responsibility given or how to put a cleaning bucket together. I don't think I have anything positive to say about this company.
