Easy Home Store in Amerstdam, NY, advertised a Whirlpool Duet Front Load Washer and Dryer on the Albany, NY, Craigslist in November and December 2010. \r \r They had multiple ads on Craigslist and each month the price fell from their ridiculous asking price down to a more reasonable price of $659, and I went to visit their store. \r \r They advertised that the units were in great shape--NOT TRUE: the units were scatched, severely dented, had rust stains, and a foul odor. \r \r They advertised that the set was $659--NOT TRUE. The sign showed $699.\r \r I inquired about a warranty. None available. \r \r Return Policy -- NONE, all sales FINAL.\r \r When I asked him what I should do when I paid him for the units, went home, and found out that they didn't work. He said that he promised that they would work. Fine, back it up with a 30-day warranty, I replied. He said he couldn't do that. I asked him to hook the washer up to the sink. He refused to even try.
