As an owner, working with Cynthia T Evans-Herr, Realtor, was quite possibly the worst business experience of my life. First, somehow they can't hire a receptionist, so whenever you need something, you've got to go through an answering service based in Alabama. Anyone who makes that much money can hire a temp.
That's really small potatoes though. Perhaps most disturbing, is that my tenant sent rent payments (in the form of money orders) to AGI, but it had taken a minimum of seven weeks for those payments to be posted or become available to the owner. Honestly, I didn't even know that my tenant paid his rent for August until mid-October. No joke! When I asked for those funds to be sent to me so I can pay the mortgage, Cynthia said "AGI Real Estate Services is not a bank to lend you money to pay your mortgage and make repairs to your property. Simply put, I have no tolerance for property owners of your standing." Excuse me?? All I wanted what was mine.
