Review content:
I would not recommend this center to my worst enemy. I pulled my daughter out after three weeks. With in those three weeks the prices were raised, I found out they were not serving my daughter breakfast because "she did not ask for it". We had never been told she had to request a meal that I was paying for. After a discussion with the director I thought we might be on the right track until my daughter came home from school letting me know the director picked her up from school in her car with no car seat. The director never called me, emailed or wrote me a note letting me know that this had happens or why it had happen. My daughter told me. I pulled my daughter out the next day after having another discussion with the director where she told me she had to make a quick decision and she chose to pick her up with out a car seat. I sorry but she is not the parent and does not get to make that decision. The school is less than a mile from target she could have gone a picked one up. She also passed at Fred Meyer on her way. As a school you would also think she would have an extra car seat/ booster available. In my eyes this was an emergency and I should have been called. The fact the the director/ owner did not come forward with this information made me feel she did not think my daughter would tell me. I was also told, when I questioned the new Winter hours, that " the dynamic of the families her centers serve do not need care over the winter break". Way to dignify a single mother in you area. Happy Hallow is only open from 8-5 four out of the ten days the elementary school is closed for winter break. But you still have to pay the full amount for the month in order to hold your spot, even if you have to find alternative care for those weeks. On a positive note I asked for a refund for my un used days of September and I did get that. I did not get my $150 dollar registration fee back even though I requested it as it was the owner/ directors neglect that let to me pulling my daughter out.
