Review content:
We got this tech in, who from the get-go was not equipped to perform their 24 point service check on our unit, and was quite rude at times. When asked if he had ever broken a customer's unit doing their check, he affirmed, and then proceeded -as we later discovered - to break ours in the exactly the same way. We were not comfortable with the tech, just like the previous reviewer said he was not comfortable. He was all about selling a new unit from the get-go, wanted our personal financial data so he could give this over the phone to ""someone"". Said we needed to be approved over $12,000 for a new unit, could not tell us the make or model but whatever it was, Gilmore would take it back until we were 100 percent satisfied with the new one. Never heard anything like this ever. We decided not to complain about the tech to GIlmore as this is clearly what Gilmore trains their so-called techs to do - pre-sales. We have a lot of concerns: our safety, the unit safety, identity theft, after the Gilmore ""treatment"". If you go to their website it is a front for financing and all hype. So it appeared to us this tech was just doing what earns him his keep: pre-sales and only pre-sales. It's truly amazing what some companies will do. Our unit, most of which was working - was totally broken when he left. We are also speaking with the BBB, and with our insurance. You have been warned, stay away from Gilmore. Cons: Break existing units, try to sell you new one
