Review content:
I had tried sooooo many chiropractors. Some times I got short term relief, sometimes it was mediocre, sometimes I was worse after leaving my appointments. I kind of gave up on finding someone good. But then my friend had an issue with her neck that had her immobilized, out of work for two weeks, on muscle relaxants... Not good. She went to Dr. Little at Source for Wellness and was on her feet again in a week, and pain free in 2-3 weeks! I got a free voucher from her and went myself several weeks later when my shoulder was totally frozen up and extremely painful... First there was the soothing music and the cup of hot tea brought to me, followed by the top notch massage chair that really helped me unwind (The chair reclines all the way back, and massages your calves and feet... :)). Then I got my consult with Dr. Little. He took his time and was extremely gentle, using trigger point (I believe) and other massage like techniques to release the muscles tension around the misalignments. He was able to give me incredible relief with in a few weeks, not just the momentary relief I had experienced other places. Over a few months he has begun to correct issues that I thought were permanent (IE: one leg was shorter than the other slightly, plantar fasciitis). Due to my acute pain I needed to come in twice a week but only for the first week. He takes a ton of time with me at my weekly appointments. It's like getting a massage along with the use of several alternative healing aides (cold laser, therapeutic ultrasound, muscle-pain gels and cream, etc) along with each adjustment. To make each appointment more affordable I pay for my appointment at a set time each month; an auto withdrawal situation. It saves my about $50 per month. Plus, they gave me a lavender eye pillow when I signed up, which they keep in a bag for me at the office, which I use during my chair massage. Suweet! They are very sweet and gentle people, who are really well trained and educated. They will take good care of you, as they have for me! They are located right next El Cerrito plaza; near the Wells Fargo and Trader Joe's... You can get the initial consult for free by going to Source for Wellness's website... Enjoy!
