Review content:
I employed the maids for almost a year to clean my house bi-weekly. I can say that they did a good job on the cleaning, however, I had the unfortunate experience of one of their employees stealing from us. I have had someone cleaning this house since I purchased it in 2000 and have never had a problem until now. My husband and I searched high and low to be sure that we had not misplaced the jewelry, but have never found it. The incident happened in March and we just received the news from their insurance company that they will not be paying the claim. When I called to report the incident, it took the owners, Wes and Melinda 2 1/2 weeks to get back with me. When he came over to talk with my husband and I, Wes agreed that our story matched his team leaders and that he would cooperate, by the time he filed a claim (in June), his story changed. This person popped out of our bedroom area with nothing in her hands while the rest of the team was outside loading the car. Their rule is that the team leader is the last out the door, and she was on her way back in to get her. As I understand it, the woman who stole from us is still employed with the Maids. I would not recommend doing business with these folks. They were paid for every clean, our home was always ready to be cleaned and we had never filed a complaint before then. Subsequently several things were broken after we reported the theft, I tried to give them a chance to make it right. It is now September, they stole $3500 worth of gold jewelry from us, and we have been turned down by their insurance company. I don't like to hurt a local business, but if you currently use them, you deserve to know that the person who stole from us is still working for them.
