Being one of only two seafood restaurants in Lakeland, and the only one on the northside makes this pretty much the only seafood game in town. What annoys me a little is that for a seafood restaurant the selection of fish is quite small and the fish that is available is mostly fried. Dont go here thinking for some fresh grilled fish, but if you like deep fried shrimp or clams then this is your place. I dont care for fried food that much and thus I am always disappointed when I go here at the small selection that is not fried. That being said the one dish I could recommend is the salmon in a bag. The bad news being that the last time I was there it was taken off the menu. Hopefully this is a seasonal thing and it will be back because without it I find it hard to talk myself into going.
PROS: good fried seafood and good biscuits
CONS: poor fish selection and most of the food is deep fried
