Review content:
In my opinion, Willow Ridge is one of the worst companies in this area -- both in terms of price and trustworthiness. Recently, I hired them to address a water issue and perform landscaping work at my home. The landscaping consisted of installing a line of arbor vitae trees and hollies. In total, around a dozen small trees and some mulch. They billed me over $5,000 for this minimal amount of work! In addition, they misrepresented the necessity of work performed.
Prior to commencing work, we told Willow Ridge that our neighbor had installed a French drain near the area impacted by the water saturation. They said they'd take that into consideration. Rather than doing so, they proceeded to dig up the area and completely REMOVE (without our authorization) my neighbor's French drain. Willow Ridge claimed that it was "ok" because the drain was on our property and wasn't really a French drain. WIllow Ridge's employee told me in great detail about how the pipe was a standard PVC with a rag on the end. He emphasized the poor quality of the neighbor's drain and insisted that they had to remove and replace it. I believed him at first and told my neighbor that WIllow Ridge had informed me that it had to remove his drain to correct some water issues.
To sum up a long story, Willow Ridge was incorrect about my neighbor's drain. After the contractor who installed my neighbor's drain gave us specs of the system and spoke with WIllow Ridge, Willow Ridge ADMITTED that they had removed a typical French drain. Not a PVC pipe that wasn't functioning (as they previously said).
